Privacy & Terms

Privacy

What we collect. When you sign in with Google we store your email address to identify your account. The VS Code extension reports ad view events (which ad was shown, and for how long) so earnings can be credited.

What we never touch. The extension does not read, upload, or transmit your source code. Your files never leave your machine — it only renders sponsored lines and reports that an ad was viewed.

Wallet & payouts. If you link a Solana wallet, we store its public address to send USDC payouts. We never have custody of your keys and never move funds without an action you sign.

Data requests. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Terms of Service

The service.claudearn connects developers, who display sponsored lines in their AI agent's spinner, with advertisers who bid for those impressions. Developers keep a published share of revenue (currently 50%), paid in USDC.

Earnings. Earnings vary with advertiser demand and your active coding hours and are not guaranteed. We publish honest ranges, not inflated figures. Payable balances can be claimed once they pass the stated minimum.

Acceptable use.Don't attempt to generate fraudulent impressions, manipulate the auction, or interfere with the service. Accounts doing so may be suspended.

Changes. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
